DUTIES We now welcome you who want to enter the ST program with a specialization in general medicine. You will work as a licensed physician at a health center with relevant side duties. During the first year, you will work at the health center and during the following four years, you will alternate rotations at specialist clinics with work at the health center. To achieve specialist competence in general medicine, you will complete mandatory training modules according to the ST regulations and have regular scheduled supervision as well as time for your own studies and ST planning. In addition to mandatory ST courses, you are offered development opportunities with continuous professional development internally and externally based on interest and operational needs. Furthermore, we expect you to be actively involved and take initiative in improvement work and operational development. Work is scheduled during daytime hours as well as some on-call duty within primary care. QUALIFICATIONS With us, you become part of a united team where we help and support each other in daily work. To be qualified for the position, we are looking for you who are a licensed physician with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare and with knowledge of Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. Additionally, basic IT skills are a requirement for the position. Previous experience in primary care is a merit. Permanent employment as an ST physician may be preceded by a fixed-term employment as a junior physician for three to six months, in accordance with regional guidelines for filling ST physician positions within Primary Care.
