About the Operation Medicine/Geriatrics/Emergency at Örnsköldsvik is part of the Northern Primary Care Area. The Medical Clinic in Örnsköldsvik is a clinic with approximately 35 physicians. The clinic conducts operations within several subspecialties (cardiology, hematology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, nephrology, rheumatology, neurology, and geriatrics). We are now seeking an ST physician (specialist trainee) with a focus on internal medicine. Our unit has a great sense of community, positive spirit, and good working environment. The clinic also trains medical students in addition to colleagues in training (such as AT/BT physicians). You are expected to participate in teaching and mentoring of medical students and less experienced colleagues, as well as participate in collegial meetings. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. Duties The main work duties involve patient responsibility, which includes medical assessment, evaluation, and treatment of patients. The role also includes administrative work. You will participate in on-call shifts and work in a team with physician colleagues and other professionals. As an ST physician at the medical clinic, you will participate partly in on-call work, which includes night shifts, evenings, and weekends. You will serve as a junior physician on the ward and also participate in the clinic's outpatient activities. You are expected to participate in teaching and mentoring of junior colleagues such as AT/BT physicians. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and require that you handle patient interactions and collaboration with colleagues in a respectful, professional, and patient-safe manner. As a person, you are structured and plan your work efficiently. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and take the larger perspective into account in your actions and decisions.
