We are now offering a resident physician position in clinical microbiology at Unilabs in Skövde! WHAT During your residency training, you will gradually take on greater medical responsibility within clinical microbiology. You will gain a broad foundation, but also have the opportunity to specialize in an area of your choice. As a customer-oriented organization, Unilabs works closely with healthcare providers. In this role, you will maintain active dialogue with customers in both primary care and acute hospitals to provide medical expertise and support with their diagnostic challenges. You will work in a team with colleagues to find better work processes and you will share your knowledge in a pedagogical manner. You will also be part of our national physician team consisting of specialist physicians and resident physicians in clinical microbiology. Areas of responsibility are distributed within the physician group based on knowledge, interests, and operations. This approach ensures you receive comprehensive support from various areas of expertise, even remotely, while sharing your knowledge with others. Beyond the national perspective, we have medical expert teams at Unilabs at the international level. Here the entire group pools resources, with operations in 14 countries, around subject-specific development issues, standardization, platform selection, and strategies for internal and external quality assurance and competence development. You will have a supervisor throughout your residency period and you will report to the Senior Operations Manager for Microbiology Sweden. You have an interest in development and you enjoy the medical consultant role and meeting with customers. You are communicative with excellent collaboration skills both internally and externally. You are also attentive and open to new thinking and passionate about working with continuous improvements that benefit patients, our customers, and our own operations. We are looking for someone who is: A licensed physician. Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience in laboratory medicine or infectious disease medicine is a merit. WHERE The position is located at Laboratory Medicine at Skaraborgs Hospital in Skövde. We work across regions, which means your colleagues are located at laboratories in Eskilstuna, Skövde, and Stockholm. Does this sound like an opportunity for you?
