Region Östergötland's ST training in general medicine is organized by the General Medicine Education Center (AMC), where study directors and education secretaries coordinate side studies, arrange courses and training, and participate in developing the ST doctor's training plan. Vårdcentralen Tannefors is located approximately a 10-minute walk from central Linköping. We have approximately 13,200 people from both rural and urban areas registered with us, a large portion of whom are people in mid-life. We are 55 staff members conducting comprehensive primary care operations including doctor's clinic, child health clinic, sexual health counseling, specialist clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, incontinence, wound care, elderly care clinic, dietitian and counseling clinic. The health center also has a family center and a well-functioning clinical laboratory. Together, we work to provide our patients with good quality care at the right time. Job Description As an ST doctor with us, you have independent and varied work with acute conditions, investigations, planned monitoring of chronic diseases, and much more. You have a personal supervisor and opportunities to consult with other specialists who have set aside time in your daily work. You and your supervisor, together with the study director, develop an individual study plan to meet all requirements in the National Board of Health and Welfare's objectives for specialist training. Supervision of students and training doctors is an important part of the work, as is engagement in the health center's development and quality work. The health center's doctors also participate in primary and backup on-call duties. About You You are a licensed doctor and hold a medical license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare, as well as Swedish language skills equivalent to documented level C1, as you must be able to communicate freely with patients, relatives, and colleagues. You have completed AT or have approved basic competence according to BT. You have good collaborative skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and communicate clearly. We want you to be unpretentious and enjoy working in a team. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
