About You
We are seeking you as a licensed physician with a Class B driver's license. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of Sámi language and Sámi cultural competence as well as experience with Cosmic.

Your Role
A health center in a rural area means you will work with a broad spectrum of patients. We have several care facilities and a general medicine ward at the health center, which makes the work here varied, broad, and developmental. The health center also has a resource center for Sámi health with a primary focus on mental health. You will receive mentoring from experienced colleagues, and if you speak Sámi, you have the opportunity to work with a Sámi-speaking mentor.
If, like many of us working at the health center in Jokkmokk, you are interested in outdoor life, the proximity to the mountains, ski slopes, hiking trails, and rivers is a great advantage. The cultural offerings in the municipality are excellent for a relatively small town. Cinema, concerts, dining options, and many leisure activities for children and adults are all within walking distance in charming Jokkmokk.

Position Details
We offer a permanent full-time position with daytime working hours. Start date by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
