About the position We are looking for you to help us build good and accessible healthcare for our residents. Completing your ST (specialist training) in primary care in Dalarna means an exciting assignment with great variety in patient encounters. We work from the perspective of seeing the whole person and take broad responsibility for individuals' wellbeing and recovery. All of our training health centers underwent SPUR quality assurance reviews in 2024. We are now recruiting ST doctors in general medicine for several health centers in the area. The area offers everything a larger city has to offer, plus great opportunities for an active leisure life. You also become part of the network for ST doctors in general medicine across the entire region. For those who want to work as ST doctors in general medicine, we offer a monthly supplement of 5000 kr, which is paid out after half of the ST training is completed. We offer, among other things, wellness allowance and access to training facilities, group training, and gyms at our larger facilities. Job responsibilities The position involves typical health center tasks such as your own clinic, child health care, and care and collaboration with the municipality. This is combined with courses and rotation positions. The position's content follows the objectives described in SOFS 2015/HSLF-FS 2021:8. For your development, there are good conditions to build competency as a specialist in general medicine. We offer professional support in the form of mentors and study directors, as well as dedicated administrators who help you with, for example, booking rotation positions and courses. Qualifications Requirements: We are looking for you with a strong interest in general medicine. To be eligible for the position, a valid Swedish medical license is required, or you must obtain it upon taking office. In other words, it is fine to apply at the end of AT (core training) or BT (basic training). You are easy to collaborate with while also driving and taking responsibility for your own work, are motivated, and have good self-insight. You have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required during specialist training. You can communicate with patients and colleagues without hindrance.
