Practitioner Service Vårdcentralen Bohuslinden operates a broad general medical practice with the clinic located right by the sea, overlooking Strömstad's archipelago. Here, 32 dedicated staff members work across various professional categories including district nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, psychologists, and physicians. We strive for good teamwork to leverage each person's expertise and work as efficiently as possible. We aim for an open and positive climate among colleagues regardless of profession. The health center serves approximately 9,000 patients and is characterized by short decision-making paths. We work in the J4 medical records system. As an ST doctor with us, you will have the opportunity to develop within the entire spectrum of general medicine. You will encounter a wide variety of patients with guidance from experienced specialist physicians and close collaboration with experienced nurses and other professionals. Our mission includes, in addition to acute and planned clinic visits, participation in municipal home healthcare and special housing facilities, as well as BVC (child healthcare center) which is part of our family center. We welcome participation in our joint on-call center operations for northern Bohuslän, located in Tanumshede, but this is not a requirement. During your ST training, you will have your own patient list adapted to your work hours and length of service as an ST doctor. We follow the National Board of Health and Welfare and SFAMS guidelines of approximately 500 patients in year 1 of ST training, with a target of approximately 900 listed patients by the end of ST.
