In this role, you will have an important position in our preventive risk work, where you will work together with operations to identify, manage, and prevent risks. Location: Luleå. As Risk Manager, you will be part of Property & Safety, a team with diverse expertise that together supports the entire organization in the safety area. The department is responsible for, among other things, the organization's internal rescue service, blast protection, and maintenance of fire protection equipment, as well as supporting the organization's systematic risk management work. In your role, you will work both strategically and operationally to identify, assess, and manage risks. You will compile and follow up on SSAB Luleå's risk management work and contribute to developing working methods and processes in this area. The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with operations, colleagues within the division, and other relevant partners. This is a varied and developmental job where you become an important resource in our continuous work to prevent and manage risks in a complex industrial operation. Your main areas of responsibility Identify, control, assess, and report risks, and propose measures and routines for increased safety. Compile and follow up on SSAB Luleå's risk management work based on the division's common framework. Collaborate with corresponding roles at other production sites to develop risk management work within the division. Support operations in risk matters, including through projects and training initiatives. Together with colleagues, develop working methods and processes that support the company's strategies and objectives in this area. About you You have post-secondary education with a focus on risk management or equivalent relevant work experience. Experience in process safety, industry, and/or chemical handling is advantageous. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A valid driver's license (Class B) is required. As a person, you are confident, solution-oriented, and well-organized, while also having the flexibility required in an organization undergoing change. You are driven and have an interest in developing and improving working methods. You are open, positive, and attentive with a good ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with both internal and external contacts.
