We are now recruiting four machine operators for the Transport Department in Luleå. About the position As a machine operator, you have a free and varied job where high service levels are expected from your customers. In the department, we have several different machines to carry out our transport-related tasks. As we believe in cooperation within the department and that we are strong together, we see it as obvious that you want to develop and learn to operate several different machines in the department so that together we can be strong and confident in our shared delivery commitments. All employees have opportunities to influence the department's development and we want you to work with us for a safer and more efficient operation. This means we want to develop our workflows, our working methods, and our ability to maintain our machines and equipment so we can increase availability and reduce maintenance costs. This is an important and production-critical role where we see a great need to be able to carry out safe and efficient transports with quality to our customers. We are now recruiting four people to the team. Working hours are 5-shift. Your main areas of responsibility • Perform internal transports within SSAB's facility in Luleå. • Operate and handle various transport and work machines according to applicable safety and work procedures. • Ensure good service and delivery to internal customers. • Work actively with safety, order and organization in daily work. • Contribute to improvements in working methods, workflows, and efficiency within the transport department. • Perform daily machine inspections and report deviations. • Collaborate with colleagues and be flexible in shift work. About you • You are driven with experience in heavy transport. • B-driver's license • Wheel loader/Forklift certificate and C-license are desirable. • You have computer skills such as Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. • If you have experience in development and safety work, this is a merit.
