We are now seeking five machine operators for the Transport Department in Luleå. The role involves independently being responsible for delivering transport-related machine services to our internal customers. Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. About the Position As a machine operator, you have a free and varied job where a high service level is expected from your customers. In the department, we have several different machines to carry out our transport-related assignments. As we believe in collaboration within the department and that we are strong together, we see it as self-evident that you want to develop and learn to operate multiple different machines in the department so that together we can be strong and confident in our joint delivery commitments. All employees have the opportunity to influence the department's development and we want you to work with us towards a safer and more efficient operation. This means we want to develop our workflows, our working methods and our ability to maintain our machines and equipment so we can increase availability and reduce maintenance costs. We see increased transportation needs within our facility in Luleå and we want to develop the department to be able to transport increased volumes in a safer and more efficient way. Therefore, we are now seeking five machine operators for our operations. Working hours are scheduled for day shifts. Your Main Areas of Responsibility • Perform internal transport within the facility in a safe, efficient and quality manner. • Contribute to collaboration within the department. • Participate in developing working methods and transport flows for increased efficiency and safety. • Actively participate in daily management, as well as work environment and safety work. About You • You have curiosity and drive to learn new things • You value your own and others' safety • You are a team player who enjoys working in a team • You have good self-awareness, spread positive energy and lead by example • You contribute to improvements and achieve results • It is meritorious if you have: • Experience with heavy transport.
