In the Hot Rolling and Format department, we work in two production units – the hot rolling mill and our four format lines. In format, hot-rolled and cold-rolled sheet is cut according to customer requirements. Format cutting currently takes place in four cutting lines that are adapted to cut different steel grades and dimensions. We constantly review our product range in our lines and strive for increased flexibility in both the facilities and among our employees. About the role As section manager, you are responsible for operating the four cutting lines. Together with your colleagues in maintenance and quality, you work to ensure stable production and high operational reliability. Together with your team, you work to create a safe workplace where both people and facilities develop in the best way. Your section includes four production lines. This means that as section manager, you have 4 directly reporting section managers and an organization of approximately 100 employees. The role involves broad contacts and a large internal network. You are part of the department's management team and help shape direction, priorities, and future development for all Hot Rolling and Format. You report to the department manager. Your main areas of responsibility: Lead and develop the Format operations section with focus on safety, quality, and production stability Create the best conditions for the organization to deliver against set targets Drive the development of facilities together with your colleagues in the department's management team Work with continuous improvements Who are you? We are looking for someone with many years of experience as a manager in industry or equivalent. Perhaps you have worked with production or maintenance in some form? You have excellent command of both Swedish and English. It is a merit if you have experience leading managers or working with change management. An engineering degree is also a plus.
