Siguldas Sporta skola, an institution of Siguldas novada pašvaldība (Registration No. 40900010523) invites applications for an indefinite-term position GENERAL PHYSICAL FITNESS COACH (vispārējās fiziskās sagatavotības treneri) (Profession Code 3422 03) Key Responsibilities: • Plan, organize, conduct, and evaluate training and educational programs; • Based on individual characteristics of physical fitness levels and their dynamics, select appropriate methods and class formats in accordance with current trends and requirements in sports; • Identify athletes' strengths and weaknesses; • Apply in practical work the principles of physical and mental development and motor skill formation appropriate to gender, age, and the chosen sport; • Maintain documentation in accordance with the institution's requirements; • Collaborate with parents, inform them of students' achievements and challenges, and work together to find solutions; Requirements for Candidates: • Education in accordance with Cabinet Regulation procedures on sports specialist certification and requirements for sports specialists, or student in a sports pedagogy program; • Understanding of developmental characteristics of different age groups and principles of interpersonal psychology; • Readiness for continuous professional development in accordance with current pedagogical and psychological knowledge and educational trends within the unified European education space; • Decision-making ability; • Ability to plan and organize your own work and student activities in accordance with institutional goals and objectives; • Communication and collaboration skills; • Psychological resilience and high standards of professional conduct; • Ability to build effective partnerships with colleagues, students, parents, and representatives of other institutions; • Ability to work as a team member; • Self-assessment skills; • State language proficiency at the highest level; We Offer: • Work in a friendly team; • Social benefits; • Monthly salary in accordance with workload (€1205.00 per month before taxes for full-time position (30 hours per week)); Please send your CV and cover letter by September 25, 2026, with the reference "VFS TRENERIS" via email to [email protected] or submit in person at Siguldas Sporta skola, Gāles iela 29, Siguldā.
