Conducts pedagogical assessments of students (children) and evaluates their special educational needs at the Service, school, or, when the student (child) has significantly limited mobility due to illness or pathological condition – at the student's (child's) home, and prescribes special education when necessary. Evaluates the characteristics of students' (children's) language development and speech and language disorders at the Service, school, or, when the student (child) has significantly limited mobility due to illness or pathological condition – at the student's (child's) home, and prescribes special education when necessary. Suggests educational forms, methods and approaches, and recommends providing special pedagogical and specialized support to students (children) with identified special educational needs when necessary. Consults students with special educational needs, their parents (guardians, custodians), teachers, and student support specialists on matters of providing special pedagogical support and organizing education. Provides methodological support to teachers, student support specialists, and parents (guardians, custodians) on matters of student (child) assessment, education and organization of education for students (children) with special educational needs, and resolution of various special pedagogical issues, and disseminates and implements innovations in special education. Forms a positive attitude toward students (children) with special educational needs and their education together with peers among the school community and society. Analyzes school documents related to the education of students with special educational needs. Provides information about students' (children's) special educational needs and their satisfaction to interested institutions or persons involved in the student's (child's) education, with parental (guardian's, custodian's) consent.
