We are now seeking specialist nursing assistants who want to work closely with colleagues and management to strengthen nursing care and contribute to a quality and person-centered daily life for our clients. As a specialist nursing assistant, you work in daily care operations and are a natural support within the work team. You have a mentoring and supporting function in regular operations. The role combines care work with responsibility for mentoring, quality, and development in close collaboration with the unit manager, assistant manager, colleagues, and healthcare personnel. The purpose of the role is to contribute to increased security and continuity in nursing care, high quality in documentation, care plans and incident management, as well as support and guidance to care staff in care work. In your role as a specialist nursing assistant, you will, among other things: provide support and mentoring in person-centered nursing care follow up on orientation of new staff according to applicable procedures support colleagues in social documentation and ensure compliance with guidelines contribute to quality and follow-up of care plans strengthen the work team's knowledge of incident management and participate in follow-up perform simple self-inspections together with the business development manager collaborate with healthcare personnel on planning and prioritizing services initiate and support reflection within the work team participate in development work and implementation of new working methods, and support colleagues in quality work assume staffing responsibility when the administrator is not on site Scheduled working hours day and evening shifts with duty every third weekend. About You You are a trained nursing assistant with further education as a specialist nursing assistant equivalent to at least 200 YH credits within geriatrics/multi-morbid elderly, dementia, palliative care, or mental health. Other Requirements: Have at least 2 years of experience working in care and support facilities for the elderly. Have good oral and written Swedish, as the position may involve preparing written materials and documentation. Meritorious: Have worked as a specialist nursing assistant. Have administrator training in the BPSD register. Have reflection mentor training. Have experience with the Lifecare system. The role requires the ability to independently plan, structure, and prioritize your own work and to be flexible and adapt to the organization's needs. You have good collaboration skills and work closely with colleagues, unit manager, assistant manager, and healthcare personnel to contribute to a holistic perspective in care. You are also expected to support and mentor colleagues in daily work and contribute to a professional and solution-focused work environment. The specialist nursing assistant is organizationally placed according to the local organizational structure.
