We are now seeking a Special Education Teacher for our upper secondary school - Högavångsskolan, located in central Olofström. Approximately 70 staff members work here, and about 400 students come together each day to meet, develop, and thrive.
Job Responsibilities
As a Special Education Teacher in our Education Administration, you will be an important part of the student support team and contribute to the development of our student well-being initiatives. Your role encompasses both assessment and development work, with an emphasis on preventive and health-promoting measures. Through your position, you will help ensure that our students who need special support receive individualized and inclusive treatment and interventions that lead to increased goal achievement.
In your work, you will:
conduct pedagogical assessments
implement educational initiatives based on the school's identified needs
provide guidance to the school's educators and work teams
support analysis work at individual, group, and organizational levels
help create positive learning environments for all students, with focus on group and organizational levels
implement targeted individual interventions for students who need them
contribute to teaching and make adaptations, supporting students based on their specific difficulties
Qualifications
Special Education Teacher certification.
We also welcome applicants with Special Education certification.
