JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a special education teacher who wants to be part of our team at Strömstiernaskolan. In your role as a special education teacher, you will work together with the principal and other staff to develop preventive and promotional student health work at Strömstiernaskolan.
Your responsibilities include consultation/guidance, special education assessments, observation of students, educators and classes, professional development initiatives, participation in student health teams and networks, and collaboration with external partners. You will serve as a qualified discussion partner on special education issues with school staff and guardians. You will also coach school staff on special education matters and conduct assessments at the individual, group, and organizational levels.
As a special education teacher, you will work closely with the school's principal where systematic quality work with development issues and student health work is the focus.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is trained as a special education teacher and certified to teach grades 7-9. We are also interested in candidates who have begun or plan to begin special education training. It is advantageous if you have worked as a special education teacher in primary school. Digital competence is a requirement for handling information, documentation, and is a natural part of teaching.
