At Riksäpplet, Haninge's introduction programs are gathered: language introduction, individual alternative, and vocational introduction together with the adapted upper secondary school. Your Assignment As a special education teacher at Riksäpplets Gymnasium, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students in their individual learning and development. Your assignment involves actively participating in the school's student support team and creating an inclusive and safe learning environment where each student can reach their full potential. You will work closely with both students and teachers to identify and adapt pedagogical methods and strategies that meet the diversity of needs in the school. Your work will include: Collaboration with the student support team, guardians, and external stakeholders. Preventive and corrective work for an accessible and safe learning environment. Conducting pedagogical assessments for students with special needs. Establishing and following up intervention plans. Collaborating with colleagues to create a holistic view of student learning and adapting learning environments at both group and individual levels. Providing support and guidance to both students and teachers on matters related to special education. Designing and following up on support measures. We are looking for a flexible and communicative person with strong analytical skills who is passionate about developing new methods to meet students' needs. What We're Looking For in You You are a special education teacher with teaching certification. You have very good knowledge of NPF. You have excellent ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. You can handle documentation in a professional, forward-focused, and clear manner. You are a flexible and self-driven person who thrives with taking your own initiative and driving processes forward. You have strong collaboration skills and see the value in working together with colleagues, students, and guardians to create a positive learning environment. You strive to build trusting relationships with our students and create a safe atmosphere where everyone can grow. Your problem-solving mindset and analytical skills help you identify and meet students' needs in the best way. Broad subject competence from basic education is a merit. Experience documenting in Prorenata is a merit. Experience working within the upper secondary school's introduction programs or adapted upper secondary school is a merit.
