Then this might be the position for you. Orrholmsskolan is now seeking a special education teacher with a focus on the later years of primary school. Job Responsibilities In this role, you will have a central function in the school's work to create favorable conditions for all students' learning, with particular focus on reading and writing development, preventive measures, and early support. Together with school leadership and educators, you contribute to developing instruction and creating an inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed. You will support, mentor, and contribute to developing special education approaches that strengthen instructional quality and student achievement. As a special education teacher at Orrholmsskolan, you are part of the school's student support team where collaborative learning and cooperation between student support professionals are in focus. Close collaboration between student support, teachers, and other colleagues is a fundamental prerequisite in our work where students come first. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher with a special education diploma, or who is nearing the end of their special education training. To succeed in this role, you have a strong commitment to student learning, development, and achievement. You have good pedagogical insight and the ability to identify students' different needs and adapt interventions and approaches based on these. As a person, you are self-motivated and take responsibility for planning, driving, and following up your work in a structured manner. You work with goal and results orientation and have the ability to translate analyses and assessments into concrete measures that strengthen student learning. You have a relationship-building approach and establish trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Collaboration is a natural part of your work style and you actively contribute to a positive and professional collaborative climate. Furthermore, you are clear in your communication and have good ability to mentor and support colleagues in special education work. We are looking for someone who combines solid special education expertise with good collaboration skills, a structured approach, and a desire to drive school development together with others.
