Within the preschool, we work together to create safe, inclusive, and developmental learning environments where every child has the opportunity to succeed based on their individual abilities. The work includes As a special education teacher, you will have an important role in preventive and promotional work to develop the preschool's learning environments and create favorable conditions for all children. You work together with another special education teacher serving our nine preschools and are present to support both children and educators in daily pedagogical activities. The assignment includes, among other things: providing educators with practical support in special education matters coaching and being a dialogue partner for educators in working with children in need of support conducting pedagogical assessments providing support in establishing, monitoring, and evaluating action plans and support measures working closely with children and educators in pedagogical activities cooperating with guardians and other professionals, such as child health services, speech therapists, rehabilitation services, and early intervention teams contributing to a smooth transition for children in need of support when they leave preschool for preschool class together with principals, special education colleagues, and educators, driving operational development and systematic quality work. You will also become part of a central network with other special education teachers within the Children and Education Department, which provides opportunities for collegial learning, experience sharing, and joint development. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is trained as a special education teacher and confident in your profession. You are responsive, clear, and unpretentious, and have an easy way of building good relationships and trust. You enjoy collaborating with educators, principals, guardians, and other professionals and want to contribute to the development of the preschool's pedagogical activities. You have the ability to independently plan, structure, and follow up on your work and to apply special education knowledge to concrete support in the pedagogical daily routine. You see possibilities and solutions, are positive and accommodating, and express yourself well both verbally and in writing. Qualifications Special Education degree; it is beneficial to also have a license as a preschool teacher Previous work experience in the preschool field Class B driver's license.
