JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a special education teacher within the central child and student health services, you work on behalf of the child and student health director and represent the special education perspective, where you are an important part of the municipality-wide work to promote health, learning and development. The assignment involves strengthening special education competence and broadening learning environments in operations. You work both strategically and operationally to contribute to the development of the municipality's overall student health work.
In your assignment, you provide professional development within the special education research field, collaborate with operations and offer quality support on special education matters. You educate, mentor and support staff in removing barriers to learning and actively contribute to promoting all children and students' access to equivalent and accessible education.
Your assignment also includes close collaboration with the municipality's special education teachers and special educators, and coordinating special education network meetings. The work also involves designing, evaluating and revising procedures and work processes as well as preparing matters for municipality-wide decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a degree in special education and a teaching qualification.
You have a salutogenic approach and in-depth understanding of the factors that affect students' development and learning and how barriers to learning can be removed. You are practically and pedagogically skilled and flexible and creative in finding solutions. You have good didactic ability, are trustworthy and have the ability to build trusting relationships that promote development.
You are well versed in current governing documents, the school's mission and the special education research field. You have clear communication skills and experience in working consultatively and in an advisory capacity as well as experience in lecturing, mentoring and training. It is an asset if you have experience in cross-administrative development work.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
