Göinge Education Center is located in Sibbhult and serves as the municipality's consolidated education hub after primary school. We offer adult education (SFI, basic, upper secondary, and adapted programs), introduction programs at upper secondary level (IMA, IMS, and IMYrk), as well as various vocational training programs connected to adult education. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking a Special Education Teacher for our student support team at Göinge Education Center in Sibbhult, where you will be an important part of our continued pedagogical development work focusing on accessible instruction. Initially, you will be assigned to our Individual Programs at the upper secondary level to identify and support our young people in their studies so they can reach their full potential. Job responsibilities include: • Assessment, enrollment, documentation, and orientation of new students. • Planning and implementing support measures and additional accommodations for students in need of special support. • Collaboration with subject teachers and the student support team. • Building relationships and maintaining close contact with students, and contributing to student support efforts. • Mentoring colleagues on special education matters and participating in our pedagogical development team. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with: • Special education training as a specialization following subject-matter teacher training. • Experience working with young people and/or adults within the NPF spectrum. • Experience teaching multilingual students. • Excellent knowledge of digital educational tools and assistive technology. • Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. • Experience with pedagogical assessment and documentation. • Experience driving pedagogical development initiatives.
