JOB DUTIES
Do you have a passion for the preschool's mission and find it both fun and rewarding to create accessible learning environments for all children?
At Lindö Preschool, you'll become a key person in connecting regular pedagogy with special education interventions to build a safe, educational, and equitable preschool. As a special education teacher with us, you work closely with the director and the preschool's teaching team. You have a comprehensive bird's-eye view of the unit's needs while being present in the practical daily operations.
You support educators in documentation and implementation of pedagogical assessments and help design concrete materials (such as visual supports and alternative communication).
You are responsible for creating clear structure around assessment and special education processes so that planning becomes clear and efficient for the teaching teams.
You drive special education work across the entire preschool unit and contribute to collegial learning and methodological development on a scientific basis.
You work in accordance with the Education Department's job description for special education teachers.
QUALIFICATIONS
We're looking for someone who:
Has a degree in special education and preferably experience in the profession within preschool.
Has deep knowledge of special education methods and the ability to implement them in practice.
Possesses a strong ability to organize, structure, and lead processes independently.
Has a holistic perspective and the ability to see both the individual child group's and the entire preschool's needs.
Is driven, positive, and genuinely finds preschool work fun and developmental!
