We are now seeking an engaged and knowledgeable special education teacher at Läredaskolan who wants to contribute to the school's continued development and be an important part of our student health efforts. What do we offer you? As a special education teacher, you will work with our students in grades F-6. The work includes work with students, mentoring, and developmental issues. With us you will have an exciting and important assignment! You will be part of the school's student health team where we work with a focus on promoting, preventing, and supporting measures, individually and in groups, which means close collaboration with teachers at school and at aftercare. The student health team includes a special education teacher, school nurse, counselor, study and career guidance counselor, school psychologist, and principal. As a special education teacher, you are responsible for assessing students' needs and establishing and following up intervention plans in collaboration with the school's teachers. In your role as a special education teacher, you will contribute to development at the organizational and group level together with school leadership. Your work tasks will include the following: Working together with teachers and other staff to create a good teaching and learning environment. Mentoring teachers by supporting teaching teams and individual educators in assessing students in need of special support at the organizational, group, or individual level. Proposing and working with measures that benefit the student's/class's development and learning. Being a qualified discussion partner and advisor on pedagogical matters related to students' needs for various forms of support and assistance for the principal, colleagues, guardians, and other stakeholders. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is trained as a special education teacher and has experience working with students in need of special support, preferably in primary school. To thrive in the role of special education teacher at Läredaskolan, you need to be a responsible and confident person with good ability to plan and document. You are driven by the opportunity to influence students' development and health in close collaboration with other colleagues, both at school and at aftercare. You are a listening and social person with good ability to collaborate and drive the work forward. We highly value your engagement. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability for the assignment. For the position, very good knowledge of Swedish is required, both spoken and written, as you need to be able to communicate freely with students and teachers.
