Do you want to make a difference for children and young people ages 0-21 with disabilities? We are now seeking two dedicated special education teachers for Child and Youth Rehabilitation in Örebro. Job Responsibilities You will work closely with the child or young person's family in collaboration with staff from other services and the geographical team for southern Örebro municipality. As a special education teacher, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team where you work both independently and together with skilled colleagues. You contribute special education expertise and provide guidance that promotes the child's or young person's development. The work is varied and takes place both in the child's everyday environment, such as at home or in preschool/school, as well as at our clinics. Together with the team, you are also responsible for providing training directed at children/young people, their families, and relatives. You will be part of a professional group of approximately 10 special education teachers where you are expected to contribute to both your own and the group's professional development. Your professional development is tailored to your needs. One of the positions may involve part-time work within our rehabilitation services. Therefore, knowledge and experience working with children with acquired neurological injuries is advantageous. To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to be able to plan and prioritize independently, with a holistic view of operations, while also having strong collaboration skills. Qualifications Special Education Teaching degree, 90 credits Good computer skills Minimum B-level driver's license as travel is part of the job Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and collaboration skills.
