Rumskulla School is a school with 30 students. Rumskulla School is located in Rumskulla, approximately 25 kilometers west of Vimmerby. JOB DUTIES As a special education teacher, your focus is on guiding and supporting teachers, work teams and school management. You analyze and develop the school's learning environments to prevent problems and promote inclusion, investigation and development. Through teaching students individually and in groups, you contribute to students achieving the highest possible goal achievement based on their capacity. As a special education teacher you assist teachers in implementing screening and analyzing the results. You work to contribute to improved teaching quality through guidance of staff. You identify risks that may lead to difficulties in student learning and knowledge development, and design preventive and promoting measures. You also assist teachers in the work with pedagogical investigations. Together with your colleagues, you analyze students' knowledge development and give teachers suggestions for measures and changes. Your task is to create the best opportunities for students, guardians and colleagues to thrive, feel secure and provide good education according to the needs of the students. QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in the role as a special education teacher, we are looking for you who has a strong pedagogical foundation and the ability to meet each student's unique needs. Mandatory requirements: • Education: You are a qualified teacher at the basic level and have a special education degree. Alternatively, you have another further education or degree that the employer considers equivalent. • Driver's License: Category B driver's license Desirable qualifications: • Experience of similar work as a special education teacher within school. • Experience of leading pedagogical investigations and conducting guidance for educational staff. Type of employment: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-10 or by agreement.
