Job Responsibilities As a special education teacher, you support the school's students and teachers in progressing as far as possible in their education. The role includes training and coaching teachers in the special education field and ensuring that regulatory documents and the JENSEN concept are followed. You establish and develop routines for, for example, additional adjustments and targeted support, student follow-up, and goal achievement. You work both with entire classes and at an individual level with students and their guardians. Qualifications You are a specialist teacher or hold a special education degree and have experience working in upper secondary school or the later years of compulsory school. As a person, you are warm and trustworthy. Your communication style is straightforward but friendly, and you are as good at listening as you are at speaking. You take your work seriously and proactively drive processes forward while delivering with reliability. You have strong self-leadership and make a difference through your sense of responsibility.
