Description As a special education teacher in student welfare, you will be part of the Central Student Welfare team with approximately 15 employees, including a head of operations. The student welfare mission is primarily to work in health promotion and prevention, and in your role as a special education teacher, you contribute both within the Central Student Welfare and at the schools with your expertise in systematic work on developing student welfare from these perspectives. We are looking for someone who wants to develop both within your profession and from the school as a whole. Job Responsibilities Job responsibilities include special educational assessments, handovers, contacts and collaboration with actors within the school as well as outside it, support, guidance and training for school staff, as well as mapping and development of learning environments. The work involves close contact and collaboration with colleagues within Central Student Welfare, as well as with the principal and staff at the school. You will work with experienced colleagues in an open work climate where we develop both the operations and ourselves together. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is educated in special education. Special education teacher. You have good ability to collaborate and communicate, are engaged and skilled at creating good relationships with students, guardians, and school staff. Education as a special education teacher and previous work experience as a special education teacher are considered merits. If you have experience working with children with special needs, this is also considered a merit.
