We are now seeking a special education teacher or special pedagogue who wants to help create a school where every student can succeed based on their own conditions – in an important role with a focus on preventive, supportive, and developmental work. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a special education teacher or special pedagogue with us, you have a very important role and function. In your daily work, you work with students in need of special support and/or other needs. You plan and carry out health-promoting and preventive student health work together with the student health team, and work to identify, assess, and investigate students' need for support and accommodations. You mentor educators, build trusting relationships with staff, students, and guardians, and coordinate measures necessary for our students to have optimal conditions for development. The work also includes a constant focus on assessing, investigating, and mapping students' needs in close collaboration with other teachers to give each student the best conditions. You implement support measures at both individual and group levels. You actively participate in developing the school's pedagogical work and organizational development. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree as a special education teacher or special pedagogue. As a person, you need to have good abilities regarding collaboration, analysis, and structure. The position also requires that you can work independently as well as together with others toward established goals. Engagement, solution-focused thinking, and innovative ideas are qualities that we value. You demonstrate skill in identifying and communicating development needs at individual, group, and organizational levels, and can work both remedially and in a health-promoting and preventive manner. You have good ability to analyze and identify support needs and can translate this into pedagogical measures and action programs. As a person, you are confident, attentive, and have good collaborative ability. You can work independently and in a structured manner while having good ability to cooperate with students, colleagues, and guardians. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
