Korsängsskolan is a school with grades F-9 with just over 860 students. The school is located in central Enköping with a mixed catchment area, encompassing both parts of the central town and some rural areas. The school was opened in 1948 and has been in operation since then; over the years, extensions and renovations have been made. The school is popular with high demand, and most students attend all their 10 years at Korsängsskolan. We have a well-developed student health service with a school nurse, school counselor, and school psychologist. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a special education specialist or special teacher, you have a central role in the school's student health team. You work both operatively close to the activities and strategically to develop the student health processes, teaching quality, and the school's work with support measures. Since we are filling two positions, we are looking for a teacher specialized in mathematics and a teacher specialized in reading, writing, and language. The positions involve work with the lower grades. Your assignment involves supporting students' knowledge development and personal development as well as coaching and guiding educators in work with accommodations, special support, and accessible learning environments. You work closely with school leadership, teachers, and other functions within student health and contribute to a preventive and health-promoting approach. The role also includes ensuring quality in documentation, pedagogical assessments, support programs, and follow-up of support measures. You are a trusted collaboration partner to school leadership and an important link between the student health team and the activities. QUALIFICATIONS You have a teacher license with a degree as a special education specialist or special teacher. You take initiative, like to start activities, and achieve results. You see the whole picture and take the broader perspective into account. You understand your role but always consider the entire organization's best interest in your actions and decisions. You are relationship-oriented, outgoing, and socially active in your work. You build and maintain relationships. You collaborate well with other people and relate to them in a receptive and flexible way. You listen, communicate, and resolve collaboration difficulties or conflicts in a constructive manner.
