Malmö friskola is a small school in Kirseberg, Malmö consisting of a preschool with 50 children and a primary school and after-school program with 150 students. We are now looking for a person who can work at a small school with short management chains, who is certified and interested in pedagogical work. We are seeking a special education teacher or special pedagogue with at least 2-4 years of professional experience. You should: As a Special Education Teacher: Be able to collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt assignments and teaching situations to help students meet learning objectives. Work with students individually or in groups. Work independently to manage your time so that students who need special education support receive it. Collaborate with the school counselor and special pedagogue in a student support team. Work toward an inclusive school. As a Special Pedagogue: Guide teachers and teaching teams on how to adapt instruction and work with accessible learning environments. Analyze learning environments and teaching methods. Collaborate with the school counselor and special education teacher in a student support team. Assess students' needs for additional support and help develop intervention plans and assist in creating extra accommodations. Work toward an inclusive school. Requirements: Certified special pedagogue or special education teacher. At least 2-4 years of professional experience. Strong pedagogical and didactic knowledge. Respectful and low-affect approach. Experience adapting learning environments. Desirable Qualifications: Several years of experience in special education work. Experience assessing knowledge of ESL (English as a Second Language) students. Malmö friskola applies individual salary determination. The position is part-time and involves 40-50% working hours.
