About the Position We are now seeking a Special Education Teacher specializing in language, reading, and writing who is interested in school development in close collaboration with school leadership and student support. Documentation, follow-up, evaluation, and analysis are part of the position. You have a genuine interest in students with special needs and a desire to work closely with students. Part of the position involves working closely with our specialized teaching group in grades 4-6. You will, together with other teachers, be responsible for the pedagogical activities. You will be part of a team that will design and develop activities and lay a solid foundation for student development. School development in Solna includes language development approaches, digitalization, core values, and adaptation of the learning environment. An important part of the work is developing the social climate so that all students feel well and enjoy being in the group. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for you who: - are a qualified teacher with a teaching degree and teacher certification - have training as a Special Education Teacher in language, reading and writing or as a special education specialist - have experience in pedagogical work - have teaching based on science and proven experience so that you succeed in creating good learning environments (didactic, emotional, and physical) - are well familiar with LGR 22 - have knowledge of language development teaching methods - speak, read, and write fluently in Swedish You have a positive attitude toward IT as a natural tool in both pedagogy and documentation. Your work effort is based on strong commitment, where you are proactive and want to help develop our school and create situations where students succeed. We are looking for someone who is attentive to students' needs and is clear and respectful with leadership rooted in the belief that all students can and want to develop. You enjoy collaborating with students, guardians, and colleagues, both within your subject area and across subject boundaries. You plan, organize, and prioritize efficiently and ensure that all processes are completed with good quality.
