JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction based on applicable curriculum standards. You adapt instruction to students' needs, circumstances, and goals, and you document and assess their knowledge development. The instruction is characterized by a clear pedagogical approach where you use teaching tools purposefully and creatively. Digital tools such as computers and iPads are a natural part of instruction and are used to support student learning and development. You work closely with colleagues in your team on planning, development, and quality improvement within the program. The work also includes participation in joint processes regarding admissions and scheduling, as well as active contribution to collaborative learning and pedagogical development. The position also involves cooperating with students' networks, such as support persons, employers, and other external stakeholders. You work to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment where students' independence, participation, development, and everyday-relevant contexts are promoted. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a special education teacher certification in intellectual disability. We welcome candidates who hold a teacher certification with credentials in language. It is an asset if you have documented experience working with this target group and have strong digital skills. It is also an asset if you have experience with adult education and are skilled at using alternative and augmentative communication in daily instruction. It is desirable that you have experience monitoring and evaluating instruction and accommodations. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent position.
