Your responsibilities As a special education teacher in Swedish at Klaraskolan, you contribute your specific expertise to the educational work and collaborate with our special education specialist. Together, you form a strong special education team. You work at both group and individual levels, and teach students in small groups or one-on-one. You collaborate with teachers and various student welfare professionals in preventive, health-promoting, and intervention work. In your role, you are responsible for screening and assessing students' need for special support in Swedish. You analyze student results together with teachers and propose interventions to meet students' needs at both group and individual levels. You work with strategies and structures that support preventive and health-promoting efforts, and through high expectations and positive belief that all can succeed, you contribute to progression in student learning. We are looking for you to work closely with teachers on classroom instruction. You contribute to dialogue around pedagogical and didactic questions and methods, and feel confident in your role as a mentor. Together with students, guardians, teaching staff, and other collaborating partners, you create favorable conditions for students to succeed. Your qualifications Qualified special education teacher with teacher certification, preferably with experience from middle school.
