We are now recruiting a special teacher in language, reading and writing development at Gottorpskolan.
As a special teacher you work with planning and delivering instruction, assessments, mentoring and observation of individual children, students and groups. The special teacher also contributes to activity and method development and provides support to management in working with students in need of special support.
You will be part of our group of special teachers and special educators and report directly to the principal. Gottorpskolan has launched a major initiative focused on promoting student reading, and in your role you will work closely with both the school's subject teams and our school librarian with the goal of becoming a reading school. We need your expertise!

Qualifications
We are looking for you who are an accredited primary school teacher and have a special teacher qualification with a focus on language, reading and writing development for work at upper secondary level. If you have previous experience working as a special teacher at upper secondary level, this is advantageous.
You need good knowledge of the school's curriculum documents and the ability to apply them in your daily work. It is important that you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and that you have knowledge of relevant digital tools. You have a professional approach and build good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to both student and school development, and who sees the value in collaboration and community.
