At Råda School, activities are conducted for students from preschool class through grade 6. There are currently 250 students at the school, distributed across seven classes. A large portion of our students have places in the after-school program, which consists of three departments. At Råda School, approximately 40 people work, distributed across seven work teams. Educators work according to their qualifications and competence. During the school year, we work on developing the focus area of entrepreneurial learning/value-creating pedagogy with the aim of increasing students' motivation and participation to ultimately raise students' goal achievement. Råda School is located in a scenic area with rich opportunities for outdoor pedagogy. The school has abundant access to digital tools to support formative learning processes. About the job Your primary task is to challenge students in their learning together with colleagues in your work team and support them in their knowledge development toward set goals. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction, you will, together with colleagues in your work team, work on developing instruction based on prioritized focus areas and the unit's improvement efforts. You will work closely with the principal, student support services, and teachers to take responsibility for and drive the unit's joint analysis work forward in various contexts. After-school program instruction is also important for students who attend; the after-school program should complement school and compensate for home. You will be an asset and, together with after-school program staff, work to develop instruction there. Who are you You are a certified special education teacher and/or teacher with experience in instruction and curiosity about the special education teacher role. You will be a key person in the unit's work for special support. Together with the school's special education teachers, principal, and student support team, you will develop and coordinate the organization around special support at the unit. Your ability to create good, trusting relationships with both students and staff as well as guardians is a prerequisite for the work. You have the ability to lead both student groups and colleagues to develop instruction. We see that you have strong subject knowledge within our core subjects Swedish, mathematics, and English for grades F-6. You have the ability to motivate and create situations that contribute to meaningful learning. You design activities and situations that promote and develop students' motivation, perseverance, and attention. You have the ability to see and meet each student, build on what works, and offer broad guidance and stimulation in instruction. Collaborative learning, result analysis, and coaching of teachers are a natural part of your work. You reflect on and analyze work methods and models to develop instruction at our school. You are communicative, creative, and open to thinking in new ways and trying new approaches together with others. We place great importance on personal suitability. We apply individual and differentiated salary setting. For the position, the monthly salary is between 44 000 and 49 000 kr, depending on experience, education, and competence.
