The position is part of the Northern Principal's Area, which consists of Backarydskolan, Hallabroskolan, and Eringsbodaskolan. The current placement is at Backarydskolan. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS We are seeking an engaged and skilled special education teacher. Here you work in close collaboration with other educators in a safe and competent team. Together you create structures, tools, and adaptations that enable each student to reach their full potential. Your work tasks will include conducting assessments and analyses of students' learning and development, both at individual and group levels. You provide special education support to students in need of additional support, both individually and in groups, and mentor teachers and work teams on pedagogical matters as well as adaptations and inclusive approaches. In this role, you actively contribute to developing the school's learning environments and instruction to meet all students' needs and participate in implementing new working methods and strategies. You collaborate closely with school leadership, teachers, student support teams, and guardians to ensure a holistic perspective on the student. The assignment also includes responsibility for establishing, following up on, and evaluating support plans. QUALIFICATIONS To be eligible for this position, you must have teacher certification and a degree as well as be qualified as a special education teacher in language, reading and writing, or mathematics. You should have experience working with students in need of additional support, individually and in small groups. You have a strong ability to build trust with students, colleagues, and guardians. You should be able to express yourself well orally and in writing. You should be able to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, students, guardians, and other professionals you meet in your profession. You should have basic knowledge of Office365 and relevant systems for the position.
