We are now recruiting a special education teacher! Employment Information The position is a permanent full-time position, starting in August or by agreement. This is a temporary vacation cover position. Your Responsibilities We are seeking a special education teacher for our special education groups for students in grades 4–9 with a focus on autism. The groups consist of approximately 6 students per group and have a large catchment area in the municipality. You will be part of a team together with other teachers connected to the activity and you will work together to create a safe, structured and accessible learning environment for the students. In the daily work, close collaboration with guardians is included. The assignment includes teaching, planning, monitoring and documentation of students' learning and development. You are also responsible for coordinating and monitoring students' development and support situation within the framework of USS work. Central to the assignment is cooperation with guardians, student health services and external actors such as BUP, social services and health and medical care. The position includes mentoring for our own organization at the school. Due to the unique expertise that the unit has, guidance and support to other schools in need of special education expertise may also be relevant. About You As a person, you are flexible, clear and structured. You enjoy working with children in need of special support as you are a very important part of their school day. Based on your profession, you have good knowledge of students' development and learning and can identify and work based on the individual's needs at organizational, group and individual levels. You have good collaboration skills, are responsive and find it easy to communicate and cooperate with students and other professional groups important to the target group. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements Qualified special education teacher with authorization for primary school Have/have applied for teacher certification Experience in teaching Valid extract from the criminal record register, due to the law on suitability control Unimpeded knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing Meritorious Qualified speech-language pathologist Experience in special education work We look forward to receiving your application!
