Ängbyskolan is a grades F-6 school with approximately 350 students, located in the naturally beautiful Knivsta, right next to Upplandsleden. We are looking for a special education teacher in Swedish with instruction in grades 3-6 and instruction in Swedish as a second language in grades F-6. DUTIES
As a special education teacher in Swedish and Swedish as a second language, you have a central role in supporting students' language, reading, and writing development. The assignment involves working both directly with students and indirectly by strengthening instruction and teachers' expertise. The focus is on removing barriers to learning and creating conditions for all students to progress as far as possible in their academic development.
Instruction and Student Support
*Plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction in Swedish and Swedish as a second language (SVA), both individually and in groups.
*Identify students' needs for special support in language, reading, and writing development.
*Conduct and carry out pedagogical assessments and analyses as a basis for interventions.
*Establish, follow up, and evaluate action plans together with responsible teachers and the student support team.
*Document student matters in accordance with applicable governing documents.
Supervision Function
*Support and mentor teachers in language development work and in adaptations and special support.
*Contribute special education expertise in team planning and follow-up.
Student Support and Collaboration
*Be an active part of the school's student support team (EHT).
*Participate in student support meetings and contribute a special education perspective in student matters.
*Collaborate with other professionals in student support.
Contact with Guardians
*Maintain continuous and close contact with guardians regarding student development and support measures.
*Participate in development meetings and other meetings where student needs are discussed.
*Inform and create guardian participation in work related to student learning.
Collaboration
*Work in close collaboration with teachers, mentors, and other school staff.
*Contribute to a holistic perspective on student learning and development.
*Collaborate with external partners as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have teacher certification with authorization as a special education teacher to teach Swedish and Swedish as a second language for grades F-6.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-09-14 or by agreement.
