The mix of students from both primary and secondary school makes Folkunga School unique, not only in Linköping, but throughout the country. The school has approximately 1,570 students in total, distributed across different school levels. At Folkunga School Gymnasium, 650 students attend, where they can study the Social Sciences program, Economics program, or Aesthetic program. Approximately 80 teachers and other staff work at the gymnasium, of which approximately 5 teach mathematics. Folkunga School is a big small school. You You must have teacher certification with qualification in mathematics at the secondary level. We are primarily seeking someone who has a special education teacher degree with a focus on mathematics, or alternatively someone who is currently pursuing special education teacher training. You must have previous work experience as a teacher and be well acquainted with the school curriculum. You have good communicative skills in spoken and written Swedish. This is so that, according to the curriculum, you can organize and conduct work so that the student receives support in their language and communication development. You will also be authoring and assessing action plans. You foster participation and have good collaboration skills. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts effectively. You have good insight into how people acquire knowledge and can adapt your way of conveying messages to others. You communicate clearly. You are confident in yourself, view relationships in their proper perspective, and act based on your professional judgment and conviction.
