About Us: Kardemumma Adapted Primary School is a small school with approximately 20 students and high staff-to-student ratio. We strive to offer an inclusive, adapted, and stimulating learning environment where each student has the opportunity to develop according to their abilities. To ensure high-quality instruction and individual development, we are now seeking a special education teacher with a strong passion for supporting students with intellectual disabilities. Nature of the Position: As a special education teacher with us, you will have responsibility as a classroom teacher for one of our classes and work closely with other teachers. You will be a key member of our school's teaching team and work closely with students with various learning needs. Your role will involve planning and implementing adapted instruction, collaborating with colleagues to ensure a holistic view of students' learning. Your role will also include active participation in the Student Support Team to ensure that students receive the support and assistance they need for their development. Requirements and Qualifications: - Teaching certification as a primary school teacher/preschool teacher. - Special education teaching degree with a focus on intellectual disabilities, or primary school teacher/preschool teacher degree with specialization in the same area. - Experience teaching all subjects and subject areas for grades 1-9. - Ability to serve as a classroom teacher with responsibility for a class. - Strong ability to collaborate with colleagues and be part of the Student Support Team.
