Special Education Teacher, Swedish (F-3) – Brandbergsskolan
Do you want to be part of developing tomorrow's reading and writing instruction while making a real difference for each student?
We are now seeking an engaged special education teacher at Brandbergsskolan for primary grades with a focus on reading and writing development.
About us
Brandbergsskolan is an F–9 school in Haninge with high engagement, strong cohesion, and a clear focus on student safety and learning. We work systematically to develop instruction so that all students succeed.
The assignment
As a special education teacher in primary grades, you will:
- work closely with classroom teachers to develop reading and writing instruction
- plan and implement instruction individually or in groups
- conduct assessments, analyses, and interventions at the individual, group, and organizational level
- be a key person in our early intervention efforts
- contribute to implementing and developing our work with Phonics (sound-based instruction) and RTI (Response to Intervention)
- mentor and support colleagues in instruction and adaptations
- be an active part of the school's student support team (EHT)
- be part of a strong special education team
We are looking for you who
- are a certified special education teacher in reading and writing instruction
- have experience working in primary grades
- have a particular interest in reading and writing development
- are curious about and want to develop further in Phonics and RTI
- enjoy working close to instruction and in collaborative teamwork
- work from a relational perspective
