JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for you who are a special education teacher or special educator and who thrive in an operation where the path from need to intervention is short. With us, you get an independent and varied assignment with great opportunities to work together with teachers and colleagues to shape approaches and interventions that make a real difference for our students. As a special education teacher or special educator, you work closely with our students and teachers. An important part of the assignment is direct work with students who need extra support to succeed in their studies. This may include individual support, working with the student to find effective strategies, or contributing to adaptations and structure in the learning situation. At the same time, you work closely with our teachers through coaching, consultation, and joint problem-solving. You contribute specialized educational expertise regarding, for example, neurodevelopmental disorders, study strategies, accessible learning environments, and how teaching and support can be designed based on different students' circumstances. We do not want to micromanage in advance exactly how the work should be organized. You have great opportunity to work together with teachers and school leadership to develop and shape the specialized educational work based on the needs you see in our students. The work involves both freedom and responsibility and requires that you can work independently, take initiative, and put ideas into practice. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who · are trained as a special education teacher or special educator · enjoy working closely with adult students and want direct student contact as a natural part of your assignment · can coach and support teachers in working with students in need of support · have good knowledge of neurodevelopmental disorders and how various difficulties can affect learning and study situations · are flexible and can adapt interventions based on students' and the operation's needs · are confident working independently and taking initiative · find it easy to build relationships and collaborate with both students and colleagues · ideally have experience with adult education or working with adults in learning contexts Employment form: Permanent employment.
