We are now seeking an engaged and licensed special education teacher for Guldkroksskolan F-6 in Hjo. The position is directed toward students in grades 4–6 and involves close collaboration with teachers, students, guardians, and student support services. Responsibilities As a special education teacher, you will, among other things: provide specialized educational support to students individually and in small groups conduct educational assessments and analyze student needs plan, implement, and follow up on support measures be involved in work with intervention plans and special support guide and support teachers in working with accommodations and special support contribute to the development of accessible and inclusive learning environments collaborate with student support teams, teachers, and school leadership on student learning and development cooperate with guardians and, when necessary, external stakeholders contribute to the school's preventive and health-promoting student support work contribute to the school's systematic quality work and continued development. You will become part of a work team and the school's student support work where collegial learning, collaboration, and shared responsibility are a natural part of everyday life. Qualifications We are seeking you if you: are a licensed teacher with authorization to teach in primary school have a special education teacher degree have good knowledge of students' different needs and conditions have good knowledge of accommodations and special support have experience with educational assessments and intervention plans have good knowledge of Lgr22, the Education Act, and other relevant governing documents have good digital competence and use digital tools as a natural part of your work. Knowledge of NPF (Neuropsychiatric Functioning) and experience with mentoring and work in student support teams are assets. Who Are You?
