In your role, you will be responsible for a group of students who receive instruction in subject areas (grades 1-3). You will work to ensure that students achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially, and will actively encourage and stimulate students to develop as far as possible to meet learning objectives. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed special education teacher with a focus on intellectual and functional disabilities. It is meritorious if you have experience working as a special education teacher or teacher in adapted primary school. We would appreciate if you have training in AAC and TAKK as well as experience teaching students in subject area programs. You have good insight and knowledge of school regulations and apply them in daily work. You also have strong didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create good conditions and a positive learning environment for our students. Good computer skills and experience using IT in your teaching are essential. You are creative and can adapt your approach and pedagogical methods and techniques based on the individual student's needs or the needs of the student group. You develop the operations to be both inspiring and challenging. We expect you to see each student from a holistic perspective and have a positive view of students with a calm, low-key manner of interaction. As a person, you are committed to your work and operate according to the school's values. You have good collaboration skills and build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are also stress-resilient and handle mental challenges well. You have the ability to interpret different social interactions and signals from students and work in a calm, low-key manner. It is important that you find strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in their learning and personal development. You have the ability to support students in achieving good results.
