Your Role We are looking for you, a special education teacher for adapted primary school, who wants to help develop our adapted primary school and thus work for our students' future! The work consists of, together with colleagues and development leaders from the after-school program, planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing instruction based on our governing documents and the activities' goals. The pedagogical responsibility that teachers have for students to reach their goals often requires resourcefulness, creativity, and flexibility. In the role as a teacher, good ability to analyze the child's needs and ability to use teaching methods well adapted to the student and group is required. The position includes mentoring and teaching according to the adapted primary school curriculum. You plan, implement, and follow up on instruction based on students' needs. Teaching is characterized by clear structures and adaptations that give students the best possible conditions to develop both academically and socially. You are responsible for documenting students' academic development and collaborate with other staff at the school. You maintain continuous contact with guardians. QUALIFICATIONS -Licensed and qualified special education teacher for adapted primary school in both subjects and subject areas, with qualification in intellectual disability. You understand, speak, and write fluent Swedish. -Experience with visual supports and alternative communication. -For us, problem-solving ability, collaboration skills, and relational competence are important. -You work calmly and systematically with low-affect interactions and have a positive and inclusive approach toward students, guardians, and colleagues. -You see it as a matter of course to collaborate with your colleagues and to share your knowledge and experience regarding teaching, additional adaptations, special support, etc. Employment Type: Permanent position.
