About the Job As a specialist nursing assistant, you play a key role in developing and ensuring the quality of care and support work. Through your advanced expertise, you contribute to strengthening the organization's approaches and creating good conditions for safe, secure, and person-centered care and support. The role involves combining daily care work with a special responsibility for mentoring, knowledge transfer, and organizational development. You serve as a support to colleagues and managers on matters concerning nursing care, interactions, documentation, and quality work, and you contribute to the introduction of new staff. In close collaboration with care recipients, family members, managers, and staff, you work to develop services and approaches that promote the individual's health, participation, and independence. Through your commitment, you contribute to a learning organization where expertise, quality, and continuous development are in focus. We are currently recruiting specialist nursing assistants for Landala care and residential home, Björkekärrshus care and residential home, and Gråbergets short-term unit. Care and Residential Home - A care and residential home is a facility for those who need service and nursing care around the clock. Care recipients receive all the support they need in their daily lives while living in their own apartments. Short-Term Care Unit - At short-term care, guests receive care and support for a limited period. The work is based on government decisions with clear goals based on the short-term guest's unique needs. The goal is to return to as independent and self-reliant a life as possible after the stay with us. We offer permanent full-time positions. Working hours for positions at Landala care and residential home and Gråbergets short-term unit are day and evening shifts, plus every other weekend. Working hours for the position at Björkekärrshus care and residential home are night shifts with the exception of some day shifts. About You Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and can demonstrate the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title, or alternatively can show that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were implemented Vocational college education of at least 200 credits within elderly care, dementia, psychiatry, or other fields that the employer deems equivalent Work experience in care and support The role requires computer proficiency for documentation and incident reporting in various IT systems, as well as good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Björkekärrshus care and residential home: Must be able to work certain day shifts (night shift) Meritorious Landala care and residential home: work experience as a specialist nursing assistant Gråbergets short-term unit: work experience in short-term care and/or inpatient care, as well as mentoring of groups and/or individuals Personal Qualities You demonstrate respect and consideration toward everyone, create a positive atmosphere, and place the care recipient's needs at the center.
