About the job As a specialist nursing assistant, you play a key role in developing and ensuring quality in care and support work. Through your specialized expertise, you contribute to strengthening the organization's approaches and creating good conditions for safe, secure, and person-centered care and support. The role involves combining daily care work with a special responsibility for mentoring, knowledge transfer, and operational development. You serve as a support to colleagues and managers on matters related to nursing care, treatment, documentation, and quality work, and you contribute to the onboarding of new staff. In close collaboration with service users, family members, managers, and colleagues, you work to develop initiatives and approaches that promote individuals' health, participation, and independence. We are currently seeking specialist nursing assistants for Sehlstedtsgatans care and housing facility and Silvergruvan's short-term housing facility Care and Housing Facility - A care and housing facility is a residence for those who need service and nursing care around the clock. Service users receive all the support they need in daily life while living in their own apartment. Short-Term Housing - At short-term housing, guests receive care and support for a limited time. The work is based on authority decisions with clear goals based on the guest's unique needs. The goal is to return to as independent and self-sufficient a life as possible after their stay with us. This is a permanent full-time position. Working hours are daytime and evening shifts, with work every other weekend. About you Qualifications We are seeking someone who is a trained nursing assistant and can provide the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for protected professional title, or alternatively can demonstrate that you were employed as a nursing assistant at the time the new regulations were implemented Vocational education of at least 200 credits in elderly care, dementia, psychiatry, or other areas that the employer deems equivalent The role requires computer skills for documentation and incident management in various IT systems, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious Work experience in care and support Personal qualities You show respect and consideration toward everyone, create a positive atmosphere, and place the service user's needs at the center.
