About the Job As a specialist nursing assistant, you play a key role in developing and ensuring quality in care and support services. Through your specialized expertise, you contribute to strengthening the organization's approaches and creating good conditions for safe, secure, and person-centered care and support. The role involves combining daily care work with a special responsibility for mentoring, knowledge transfer, and service development. You serve as support for colleagues and managers on matters related to nursing care, patient interaction, documentation, and quality work, and you contribute to onboarding new staff members. In close collaboration with service users, family members, managers, and colleagues, you work to develop services and approaches that promote individuals' health, participation, and independence. We are currently seeking five permanent positions for specialist nursing assistants at the following home care services in Gothenburg City (working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts at all units): Home Care Bergsjön Väst: You need to have cycling experience. Experience mentoring colleagues is a merit. Experience working with people with dementia and/or within psychiatry is also a merit. Your work contributes to creating security and enabling the person receiving home care to manage their daily life as independently as possible. Your tasks are varied and you provide support in daily living. This could include providing support and guidance with meals, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, or simple activities and household chores. You may also perform certain health and medical care tasks following instruction and delegation from, for example, registered nurses. About You Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and can provide the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title, or can demonstrate that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced. Vocational higher education training of at least 200 credits, preferably with specialization in elderly care, psychiatry, or dementia. The role requires computer skills for documentation and incident management in various IT systems, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Merits It is a merit if you have experience relevant to any of the services' specific needs as described above.
