About the Job As a specialist nurse, you play a key role in developing and ensuring the quality of care and support services. We are currently seeking specialist nurses for our four home care centers in Southwestern Gothenburg: Södra Skärgårdens hemtjänst (Besöksadress: Svante Orells Väg 14, Styrsö) Askims hemtjänst (Besöksadress: Askims Torg 5) Fiskebäck/Långedrags hemtjänst (Besöksadress: Redegatan 9B) Tynnereds hemtjänst (Besöksadress: Björkhöjdsgatan 24) Working in home care means you help and support people in their own homes, based on the services that have been decided upon. Your work contributes to creating security and making it possible for the service user to manage their daily life as independently as possible. The tasks are varied, and you provide support in everyday matters. This might include assisting and providing guidance with meals, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, or simple activities and household tasks. You may also perform certain health and medical care tasks under instruction and delegation from, for example, registered nurses. This is a permanent full-time position. Working hours are daytime and evening shifts, plus every other weekend. About You Qualifications We seek candidates who are trained nurses and can provide proof of the Swedish Social Board's protected professional title, or can demonstrate that you were employed as a nurse when the new regulations were introduced Vocational higher education with a minimum of 200 credits specializing in elderly care, psychiatry, or equivalent as assessed by the employer Cycling experience and willingness to use an e-bike in your work B-class driver's license and driving experience (not applicable for Södra Skärgården) The role requires computer skills for documentation and incident management in various IT systems, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Merits Work experience in care and support services Personal Qualities You show respect and consideration toward everyone, create a positive atmosphere, and place the service user's needs at the center.
