This position is placed within the Social Services Department, which is one of eight departments in Linköping Municipality. The Social Services Department is responsible for authority functions, commissioning of services, and in-house operations within the areas of individual and family care, LSS, and social psychiatry. Your Tasks As a specialist nurse at Granholmsvägen Group Home, you will have an important role in the operation and the opportunity to help shape a new assignment. You work closely with service users in their daily lives while contributing your specialist expertise to the work team and the development of the operation. Your work involves providing individually adapted support and qualified nursing care based on the service user's needs, wishes, and circumstances. You work to strengthen the individual's independence, participation, and opportunity to live as independently as possible. An important part of the assignment is to support colleagues in nursing care matters and contribute to reflection, learning, and development of working methods. You will provide support in matters concerning healthcare, documentation, and implementation of services. Together with the operations manager and licensed staff, you contribute to developing routines and creating safe and secure care for our service users. You are also expected to stay updated within your specialist area and contribute to the implementation of new working methods and practices in the operation. Your Workplace Granholmsvägen 2 is a group home within LSS where we offer support to seven people with intellectual disabilities and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. Here you will meet a stable and committed work team that has worked together for several years. We work to create a safe and developing environment where service users' needs, participation, and self-determination are at the center. The operation is in a development phase where we want to strengthen our work in nursing and healthcare matters. The service user group is aging and has increased need for medical interventions and adapted support. This is why we are looking for you who wants to contribute your knowledge and help develop the operation together with the operations manager and colleagues. This is a new role for us, which means you will have the opportunity to influence how the assignment is shaped and create structures that endure over time. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, weekend, and on-call night shifts. What We're Looking For We are looking for you who are educated as a specialist nurse with a focus in, for example, psychiatry, disability care, elderly care, dementia, or other education that we deem equivalent. You have experience working in support, care, and nursing. You also have experience with and knowledge of low-arousal approaches. It is meritorious if you have experience working within LSS or psychiatry as well as mentoring colleagues and contributing to the development of working methods. As a person, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with others. You are self-driven, take responsibility, and drive your work forward. You have empathetic abilities and a clear approach where you adapt your communication to the individual's needs. You also have pedagogical insight and enjoy sharing your knowledge and supporting colleagues in their development.
